First it was Fleischer saying that "Obama should be thankful that he inherited a world without Saddam Hussein" claiming that Saddam Hussein was behind 9-11 (but he DID inherit a world with AL QUAEDA and BIN LADEN and the people who were ACTUALLY RESPONSIBLE for 9-11...)and then backpedaling and claiming that that's "not what he meant" when called on his LIE.

Then it was Frank Gaffney, who spouted off a load of stale, steaming bullshit about how Saddam was behind every terrorist attack in the US from the first WTC bombing, to the OKLAHOMA CITY BOMBING (gee, I distinctly remember that guy being a FAR-RIGHT RACIST WHACKJOB AMERICAN...) to 9-11, along with crackpot conspiracy theories about how Saddam was prepared to attack the US with chemical weapons via... get this... PERFUME BOTTLES.

When the Mask Falls Off, Redux

Chris Matthews, leading into a commercial before covering El Rushbo's hope that President Obama fails: "Does Rush Limbaugh hate America?"

On the one hand, this may be the media finally feeling like it can speak out against the stone wall of right-wing hatred erected by folks like Rush the Comedian; on the other, it could very well be a way of ingratiating themselves as they did when Bush was in power. I should hope it's the former and not the latter - I don't think I could stand a media that remains as spineless and accomodating as before, just for someone else.

Jack Thompson: Intellectually Devoid Scumbucket

Chris Matthews puts a boot right up Thompson's ass on this one. Maybe this will finally end his psychopathic rantings once and for all. Sadly, I put Thompson on the same level as Fred Phelps: A crazy bastard who believes his own crazy thoughts and believes himself to be the sole arbiter of truth. If you examine their rantings, Phelps and Thompson are strikingly similar.

Look at this line, this is from bin Laden today: "There is no defect in the solution other than preventing the flow of hundreds of billions to the influential people and war merchant in America." He sound like an over-the-top Michael Moore here, if not a Michael Moore...

And I've heard conservatives decry this fat slob as being a liberal! Is the right's media machine so devoid of arguments that they've resorted back to attacking Moore and using low-grade ad hominem attacks?
