FreeRepublic: Because You Can't Have Enough Sub-Human Racist Sh*tbags on the Tubes, Right?

Video from Countdown with Keith Olbermann:

So when can we finally shut this racist, violent, hateful shithole down? Aren't there usually rules against this shit among the terms of service for most bandwidth/storage space providers?

Also, holy shit, I think they finally fixed the damn code for these things.

ADDED: They did - but somehow either Blogger or ScribeFire fucks it up.

Right-Wing Mailbag, "The Inevitable Result of Eating Lead Paint" Edition

Letters to the editor | The Journal Gazette, Fort Wayne, Ind.

Are some of these people on drugs or something? What else would explain their complete lack of anything resembling logic?

Posted Without Commentary

From today's Journal-Gazette letters:
Zealots’ smokescreen disguises terrorism

Early in my pastoral career, I discovered that the easiest place for the antichrist to operate is in Christian disguise. So it is with the zealots of the anti-abortion movement, most recently epitomized by Scott Roeder in the heinous murder of Dr. George Tiller.

While groups like Operation Rescue are trying to convince us that Roeder acted alone, there is ample evidence that he moved with the open encouragement of militant anti-abortion groups and incendiary voices like Bill O’Reilly, Alan Keyes, James Dobson, Randall Terry, Mark Crutcher, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh.

Most of the above have one thing in common: They employ Christian language to justify the holiness of their cause and the righteousness of their deeds. To hear them talk, they are driven by a godly desire to protect the unborn – even to the extent of sanctifying blatant acts of violence.

With zealots like Roeder and their vociferous cheerleaders, I suspect that “the sanctity of life” is mostly a smokescreen. It provides a convenient springboard for encouraging and committing hate-filled acts of oppression, not only toward abortion-rights advocates but also to all manner of convenient scapegoats (women, Jews, Muslims, intellectuals, homosexuals and so-called “illegals”).

Roeder and his compatriots have shamed our nation by compromising the very moral code they claim to uphold. Until ordinary citizens are willing to stand up to these terrorists, the antichrist will continue to enjoy a field day in America.

Randall Terry: Avowed Terrorist

Terry Says Obama Makes Attacks Inevitable; Also Serves Beer, Wings | TPMDC
In response to a follow up question from The Washington Independent's Dave Weigel about the correlation between violent right wing extremism and Democratic administrations, Terry recalled a quote, which he believed to have originated with either Robert or John F. Kennedy: "When you make peaceful protest impossible, you make violent protest inevitable," adding, "I can promise you this--there is visceral contempt for this administration," in the pro-life community.
There you have it. The terrorist Randall Terry is saying that there will be more attacks, more deaths, more and more until his goals are met.

HE IS A TERRORIST. THIS IS THE DICTIONARY DEFINITION OF TERRORISM.

RANDALL TERRY, I HEREBY STRIP YOU OF YOUR RIGHTS AS A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, AND PLACE A WARRANT UPON YOUR HEAD. YOU WILL SURRENDER PEACEFULLY.

Oklahoma declares its sovereignty.

From WorldNutDaily: Oklahoma House passes sovereignty bill
The Oklahoma House of Representatives passed House Joint Resolution 1003 Feb. 18 by a wide margin, 83 to 13, resolving, "That the State of Oklahoma hereby claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the Constitution of the United States."
Holy crap! But wait, what does this mean? Apparently not much, actually.

They did the same thing last year.

The result? Pretty much nothing. It's basically a feel good measure for the reddest of all red states, to tell the 'gov'mit to b'k off.' Even though they won't follow through with anything about this bill. It sounds scary, it gets some attention, it makes the libertards feel important in big elephant, and is really nothing but conservative mental masturbation.

Taliban Tactics

From the National Journal: Sessions: GOP Insugency "May Be Required"
"Insurgency, we understand perhaps a little bit more because of the Taliban," Sessions said during a meeting yesterday with Hotline editors. "And that is that they went about systematically understanding how to disrupt and change a person's entire processes. And these Taliban -- I'm not trying to say the Republican Party is the Taliban. No, that's not what we're saying. I'm saying an example of how you go about [sic] is to change a person from their messaging to their operations to their frontline message. And we need to understand that insurgency may be required when the other side, the House leadership, does not follow the same commands, which we entered the game with."

That agreement, as Sessions described it, involved a promise from Pelosi to preside over an "open, honest, ethical Congress." Obama, Sessions added, has pledged to diminish the political rhetoric in Washington and work in a bipartisan fashion.

"If they do not give us those options or opportunities then we will then become insurgency of a nature to where we do those things that are necessary to making sure the American public knows what we think the correct answer is," Sessions said during the 60-minute interview. "So we either work together, or we're going to find a way to get our message out."

Bravo Rep. Sessions, bravo. The self destruction of the Republican party continues.

Freep: "WE (HEART) NEO-NAZIS"

From Mark Casey Online: “Free Republic:” Neo-Nazi Assassins Not Manly Enough
I usually try not to link to rabid wingnut sources, but a recently frontpaged “commentary(EDITOR'S WARNING: THE PRECEDING LINK LEADS DIRECTLY TO A HATE SITE) — or whatever you want to call it — at Free Republic was just too nutty not to publicly object to.

It’s basically a short ramble about how the author thinks Nazis are generally gay (and perhaps that gays are generally Nazis?), based on a totally un-gay trip he once took to Knott’s Berry Farm. Here’s my favorite part:

The first thing that came to my mind was– “awwww… a little gay couple, how cute.” But when they got on the ride, before they were shot into the air, they gave Hitler salutes and yelled “White Pride!” There was a black lady behind me, and she was as surprised as I was.

So my point is this– My gaydar is pretty well spot-on, so I’m wondering if white supremecy has less to do with blacks in general, and Obama in particular, and more with gender confusion, rosy cheeks, white tuxedos and hello sailor.

Less to do with blacks, more to do with gender confusion. And speaking of confusion, the fella that wrote this clearly has no experience categorizing and rejecting entire groups of people based on superficial attributes, so I think we should take what he has to say about racism being a non-issue among Neo-Nazis seriously.

The rest of the thread, including comments, makes fun of the two skinheads and their plans to go on a killing spree as not nearly manly enough. Please don’t visit the website.
So, I'm just wondering: Can we have the Freepers classified as traitors yet, or do we have to wait until they do something?

"Get the Obama signs off your property—now,"

"Failure to obey this order will result in the immediate death of all family members."

Don't believe what you just read?

Believe it. People are getting DEATH THREATS for supporting Obama now.

Two supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama found handwritten death threats in their mailboxes Thursday and reported them to Villa Park police.

A 74-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man with Obama signs in their front yards near the 600 block of South Villa Avenue received similar letters that had a Villa Park Village Hall return address. "Get the Obama signs off your property—now," the letter reads. "Failure to obey this order will result in the immediate death of all family members." Both residents said they will not remove their signs, though the man, who had voted Republican for 25 years before switching parties this year, said his wife is worried about letting their 7-year-old son play alone outside.

Village President Joyce Stupegia said she has not heard about any other letters.

"I'm quite troubled," she said. "It's obviously a person who's a little nutsy getting carried away. But it's unacceptable."

So, McCain.... Are you still "proud" of your supporters? Are you going to come out and condemn this action as the despicable criminal behavior that it is? Are you going to stand up, take the HIGH ROAD for once, and say "This is NOT what the Republican party stands for, and I will not tolerate this sort of behavior from people who claim to support me"?

Of course not. Whatever it takes to either win the election, or burn the country down after losing, right?

Seriously, now. I wonder if the fucknut who wrote those letters would have been even half as bold if those signs had read "Gun Owners For Obama". And it's people LIKE that, that are making me seriously think about getting a big, fierce-looking German shepherd and a .35mm for personal safety - just BECAUSE people like that seem to be becoming more and more common, and more and more unhinged, thanks to McCain/Palin's stirring up of hatred and violence.

This is what the Republican party has sunk to, people - Not ALL, but ENOUGH - violence, vandalism, and death threats. And then they have the nerve to call themselves "freedom-loving", "Pro-America", and "Christian"....

This Is What Conservatives Believe, Part 2

Eliminationism in America: Appendix

Dave Neiwert has compiled a list of the hateful, disgusting things that prominent and nameless conservatives alike have said that advocate the assault, imprisonment or murder of people they disagree with.

You think this isn't what they believe? You think that the shooting this week was just some random nut? Given the hate his idols spew, it's only a matter of time before we see it again.

THIS IS WHAT CONSERVATIVES ACTUALLY BELIEVE

Re: Yesterday's church shooting: Affidavit: Man admits church shooting, says liberals should die
A man accused of fatally shooting two adults and wounding seven others at a Knoxville church told police the church's liberal teachings prompted him to attack, according to court papers.
Jim Adkisson said liberals should be killed because they're ruining the nation, according to an affidavit.

Jim David Adkisson told investigators all liberals should be killed and admitted he shot people Sunday morning at Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church, according to a search warrant affidavit obtained by CNN affiliate WBIR.
But remember, according to Instaprick and Cornfed Yankoff, the guy was obviously an anti-Christian liberal who hated God.

This is what happens when you inundate people with hate. This is what happens when you tell them that gay people are sub-human. This is what happens when the inmates run the asylum.

Oh, and the terrorist's choice of reading material?
"Still seized three books from Adkisson's home, including "The O'Reilly Factor," by television commentator Bill O'Reilly; "Liberalism is a Mental Disorder," by radio personality Michael Savage; and "Let Freedom Ring," by political pundit Sean Hannity."
No surprise here. The hate tomes of O'Reilly, Weiner, and Hannity: Mein Kampf for a new generation of murderous, hateful terrorists. Yes, I stand by that statement. Godwin be damned.

Former Anti-Gay, Anti-Woman Republican Congressman Indicted for Taking Money from Terrorists

From the New York Times:Former Congressman Is Indicted Over Ties to Islamic Charity
A former Republican congressman from Michigan was indicted Wednesday on federal charges of money laundering and obstruction of justice. The charges involve his work as a lobbyist for an Islamic charity accused of illegally funneling about $130,000 to an Afghan warlord labeled a terrorist by the United States government.

The former congressman, Mark D. Siljander, who was defeated for re-election in 1986 after three terms in the House, was accused by a federal grand jury in Kansas City of accepting $50,000 in stolen government aid money as his lobbying fee from the now-defunct charity group, the Islamic American Relief Agency.

The charity — based in Columbia, Mo., and closed in 2004 — and several of its former leaders were already under indictment on charges of illegally transferring money to Iraq and stealing government money.

(...)

Mr. Siljander, 57, was best known in the House for his fierce opposition to abortion and gay rights. He tried to block a $581,000 Justice Department grant to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence in 1985 because he considered the group to be run by “pro-abortion, pro-lesbian, anti-Reagan radical feminists.”
What a surprise that someone making that kind of statement would have ties to a warlord with direct links to a fundamentalist terrorist group. They say great minds think alike, but in this case, I don't think you can call them great in any non-pejorative sense.

With that said, I'm left wondering how many times Fixed Noise will refer to him as a Democrat.

Terrorism: Not Just the Product of Foreign Brown People

From Shakesville: No Terrorism in America Since 9/11
That's what the Bush administration keeps telling us. Except, ya know, there has been terrorism in America since 9/11, but when it's terrorism against uppity women (and their allies) who have the gall to think they ought to be able to control their own bodies or be free from abuse, it doesn't count.

Via Vanessa, here's more terrorism that doesn't count, as two separate Albuquerque Planned Parenthood facilities were vandalized on Christmas Day:
Firefighters were called out early this morning to Planned Parenthood's medical offices in the northeast part of the city. The roof was on fire, but crews were able to quickly extinguish the flames. Fire officials have confirmed that some type of incendiary device was found on the roof.

Hours earlier, authorities responded to another Planned Parenthood clinic to find that its windows had been broken. Authorities say damage at both clinics was minimal.

The incidents follow a fire just weeks ago at Abortion Acceptance of Albuquerque.
One city. Three separate incidents against three separate clinics in the span of one month, two of them involving arson.

But no terrorism, of course. That's only done by brown people, who do such things on behalf of a god who goes by a different name. Oh, and it has to affect men, too.

Straight men. Don't get your hopes up that a molotov cocktail through the window of Manhole and a dozen incidents of gay-bashing are going to be called terrorism anytime soon either, my little fagulas. I mean, you're practically women, anyway. Yuck!
This actually ties in prety well to my letter to the editor in response to a crazy-ass wingnut from a few weeks back. These are people who are convinced, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that terrorism is only something done by Them Evil Brown Furriners. To them, even acts like the Oklahoma City bombing aren't terrorism, much less vandalism, arson, and murder committed by anti-choice and/or anti-gay hate-spreaders - only brown people killing Good White Straight Americans is terrorism. It's this belief that gives rise to the ignorance that could convince someone that only Muslims can be terrorists.

Apparently, these people and people like myself have differing ideas of what defines terrorism. To them, terrorism is Brown People killing Good Straight White Americans. To me, terrorism is as it is defined in the dictionary:
ter·ror·ism (těr'ə-rĭz'əm)
n. The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.
Huh. Nothing about "brown people" or "Muslims" in that definition. Fancy that.

Right-Wing Mailbag, "Damn Those Brown People" Edition

Wednesday's Journal-Gazette Letters Page
It has been said that terrorists have hijacked a great religion. I submit that Islam has corrupted its people.

Sadly, individual Muslims, out of a sense of duty or fear of their fellow Muslims, express little or no desire to assimilate into a host country’s social fabric and often advocate the establishment of Sharia law in their communities. They seldom condemn or inform upon militants. Those found out are considered traitors and subsequently murdered by militants. Witness Iraq. If American Muslims are one day compelled to choose between Islam or America, there is little doubt in my mind what that choice will be.

Islam is a problem. Sin is the problem. Islam is a militant and proselytizing faith bent upon world domination. Mohammed mandated that the world remain in a state of war until Islam rules the world. No, not all Muslims are terrorists. However, all terrorists are Muslims. Those in control, to whom lying, deception, coercion and force are virtues and murder and suicide are the paths to heaven are never to be trusted. Diplomacy and appeasement are simply wastes of time.

Infiltration into our country and many others is well on its way. Recruitment and the promotion of propaganda in the media, press, the courts and our campuses are in full swing.
Gee, doesn't this sound like the kind of person you want in your community? This kind of hatred is, sadly, both expected and accepted in this area.

First off, I wonder what kind of reaction a letter like ths would get were its target Christianity. A hateful screed like this against a religion whose followers weren't primarily brown-skinned and non-American would never see the light of day, and yet a tirade against Islam is printed, without a single thought as to how it comes off, much less a single check of the "facts" in it.

Of primary note is the statement in the second paragraph, "No, not all Muslims are terrorists. However, all terrorists are Muslims." Really, now? So the KKK, an organization whose sole purpose is to terrorize non-whites and non-Christians, is Muslim? So eco-terrorists who set fire to animal testing labs and SUVs are Muslims? So Timothy McVeigh, an indoctrinated Christian, was actually Muslim? So the Aum Shinrikyo cult, who attacked innocent people on the Tokyo subway with a deadly toxin, is Muslim?

Well, that's good to know. And here I foolishly thought that non-Muslims could be terrorists, thanks to many, many examples of non-Muslims committing acts of terrorism. Obviously, my observations must be wrong, since one person trying to start up a new crusade says that only Muslims can be terrorists. Oh, what a fool I was!

Michael Weiner: Terrorist Supporter and Hater of Americans

From Media Matters for America: Citing more sex-change operations, increased lesbian fertility clinics, Savage said of 9-11: "That was God speaking"
So-called post-Christian times. The churches are emptying out, the bathhouses are filling up, the sex-change operations are speeding up, the lesbian fertility clinics are increasing around the country. And the country is on the verge of an insane breakdown.

(...)

And God, who is the center of this monotheistic religion, has said, "Oh, you don't worship me anymore? Oh, you don't like me anymore? Oh, I don't exist anymore? Really? All right, I'm going to show you boys in Hollywood and you girls in New York City that I do exist. But since you're very hard-headed, stiff-necked people, and you don't really believe that I exist because you've gotten away with everything you've done all your life without any repercussions, I'm going to show you I exist in a way that you can't believe." Down came the World Trade Center towers. That was God speaking.
Michael Weiner is the same as Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, Fred Phelps, and Osama bin Laden: a pile of solidified hate, shaped into something vaguely resembling a human being. There's no heart, no soul, no thought, just hate for everything and everyone.

I wonder when Weiner is going to be shipped off to "Club Gitmo" for his anti-American, terrorist-supporting statements?

Freeper is terrorist; nobody surprised

Remember this story? Remember the wingnuts saying that Olbermann was some kind of pansy for fearing for his life because someone sent him fake anthrax?

Well, turns out they seem to have found the guy - and lo and behold, it's an insane Freeper!

I'm wondering if this guy will get tried on the charges he should be brought up on - terrorism.

11/07/2006

The dirty tricks begin.

Shameless wingnut harpy bitch Laura Ingraham encourages her listeners to jam the DNC voter protection hotline.

The GOP is making robocalls telling people that they are on the voter rolls as out-of-state residents, and if they show up to vote, they'll be arrested.

Republican candidates uses the Emergency Alert System to transmit a political ad, thus forcing it onto the air.

These people are shameless scum, and they need to go to jail for this kind of voter suppression. This is the exact reason WHY we need accountability - the GOP thinks they can get away with anything, and as long as they control every branch of government, they can.

It's time to turn the rascals out!
