O'Reilly: Still an Eliminationist Bastard

From Think Progress: O’Reilly: If Cheney had ‘an assassination squad,’ he would have killed Seymour Hersh ‘a long time ago.’
In an Boston Herald op-ed today, Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly mocked Hersh’s claim, saying “If Cheney really had such a crew,” reporters like Hersh would have already been killed:
The other day, left-wing muckraker Seymour Hersh went on MSNBC and said he had information, provided by the usual anonymous sources, that Dick Cheney was running an assassination squad out of the White House.

I have but one simple observation: If Cheney really had such a crew, Hersh would have been dead a long time ago, and so would most everybody at MSNBC.
(emphasis in original)
One of the commenters at TP noted that this is part of O'Reilly's alleged "humor".

You ever notice how wingnut "humor" always has an emphasis on killing people they disagree with and attacking anyone of a less-privileged position?

Anyway, this isn't surprising - O'Bastard isn't even a bit sorry about his hate and the role it's had in eliminationism. He's just going to keep doing this until someone holds him accountable.

Man Shoots "Immigrants" in Attempt to Start a "Revolution"

From WJHG-TV Florida: Early Morning Shooting Kills 2 Injures 3 in Miramar Beach
The man suspected of an early morning shooting rampage in south Walton County is sitting in jail tonight, refusing to talk to investigators.

That rampage left two people dead and three others critically wounded.
(...)
Neighbor Crystal Lynn says "he did come up to me one time and asked me if I was ready for the revolution to begin and if I had any immigrant in my house to get them out."

The victims were foreign nationals who appear to have been working in the U.S. legally.

Investigators say, at the time of the shooting, there were at least 14 other people in the one unit with the victims...all of Hispanic descent.
And where do you think he got this kind of idea, to start a "revolution" that involves killing "immigrants"? I'd wager it's from right-wing eliminationist rhetoric, the kind spewed nightly by people like Lou Dobbs.

Or maybe it was this?

Of course, since this guy isn't saying one damn thing to anyone, it's unclear whether these hate-spreaders are responsible, but given recent events and the escalating threats and paranoia of the far right, I'd wager good money that there's some kind of connection here.

This is why I encourage everyone to go read Dave Neiwert's "Eliminationism in America" series. We need to be able to identify this kind of hatred, and we need to be ready to stamp it out. We need to drop the pearl-clutching talk about the rights of those who encourage violence, and we need to start making these people responsible for what they start.

THIS IS WHAT CONSERVATIVES ACTUALLY BELIEVE

Re: Yesterday's church shooting: Affidavit: Man admits church shooting, says liberals should die
A man accused of fatally shooting two adults and wounding seven others at a Knoxville church told police the church's liberal teachings prompted him to attack, according to court papers.
Jim Adkisson said liberals should be killed because they're ruining the nation, according to an affidavit.

Jim David Adkisson told investigators all liberals should be killed and admitted he shot people Sunday morning at Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church, according to a search warrant affidavit obtained by CNN affiliate WBIR.
But remember, according to Instaprick and Cornfed Yankoff, the guy was obviously an anti-Christian liberal who hated God.

This is what happens when you inundate people with hate. This is what happens when you tell them that gay people are sub-human. This is what happens when the inmates run the asylum.

Oh, and the terrorist's choice of reading material?
"Still seized three books from Adkisson's home, including "The O'Reilly Factor," by television commentator Bill O'Reilly; "Liberalism is a Mental Disorder," by radio personality Michael Savage; and "Let Freedom Ring," by political pundit Sean Hannity."
No surprise here. The hate tomes of O'Reilly, Weiner, and Hannity: Mein Kampf for a new generation of murderous, hateful terrorists. Yes, I stand by that statement. Godwin be damned.

Michael Weiner: Terrorist Supporter and Hater of Americans

From Media Matters for America: Citing more sex-change operations, increased lesbian fertility clinics, Savage said of 9-11: "That was God speaking"
So-called post-Christian times. The churches are emptying out, the bathhouses are filling up, the sex-change operations are speeding up, the lesbian fertility clinics are increasing around the country. And the country is on the verge of an insane breakdown.

(...)

And God, who is the center of this monotheistic religion, has said, "Oh, you don't worship me anymore? Oh, you don't like me anymore? Oh, I don't exist anymore? Really? All right, I'm going to show you boys in Hollywood and you girls in New York City that I do exist. But since you're very hard-headed, stiff-necked people, and you don't really believe that I exist because you've gotten away with everything you've done all your life without any repercussions, I'm going to show you I exist in a way that you can't believe." Down came the World Trade Center towers. That was God speaking.
Michael Weiner is the same as Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, Fred Phelps, and Osama bin Laden: a pile of solidified hate, shaped into something vaguely resembling a human being. There's no heart, no soul, no thought, just hate for everything and everyone.

I wonder when Weiner is going to be shipped off to "Club Gitmo" for his anti-American, terrorist-supporting statements?

Mel's little goof.

I'm sure most of you have heard about Mel Gibson's DUI arrest and the anti-Semitic comments he made to the police. The right's anti-Semites are coming out of the woodwork to defend Mel's statements, despite the fact that he has already apologized for them.

Truth is, I think this shows a side of the right's most extreme elements we're not used to seeing too often - their latent hatred of the Jewish people. They condemn any action against Israel, they scream "Jew-hater!" at anyone who criticizes Israel, but, ultimately, they see the entire Jewish population of the world as a stepping-stone to Armageddon, and nothing more. It's fucking creepy. Even worse is the REAL nutballs who try to push the tinfoil-hat garbage memes about Jews being in control of everything. And what worse than that is that I think there are people who actually BELIEVE that slop!

So what's my point, you might be asking? To put it simply, there are some crazy folks out there who are saying that Mel's comments are okay and/or that he apologized, so everything's okay.

Just remember: In vino, veritas.
